Sveden Trä a company steeped in tradition and history, where its local roots have shaped its operations. The company has annual sales of approximately SEK 800 million and currently employs about 150 people. From its sawmill in Rågsveden 175,000 cubic meters of sawn timber annually, in both pine and spruce.
Approximately 60,000 m3 of the sawn timber is further processed through planing, surface treatment and impregnation. In addition to Rågsveden , our production facilities are located in Malung, Vansbro and Mockfjärd. We also have our own forestry department with offices in Rågsveden and Ekshärad. The forestry department is responsible for approx. 70% of the sawmill's raw material supply.
We are currently looking for a machine operator for our facility in Vansbro. Here, we process wood products, and we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a workplace where teamwork and dedication are integral parts of our daily routine.
About the role
As a machine operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and wheel loaders at our facility in Vansbro. You will ensure that raw materials and processed products are moved to their intended locations efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on and varied role in which you will work closely with your colleagues in production.
The job responsibilities include, among other things:
- Operating forklifts and wheel loaders
- Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing goods
- Daily inspection and routine maintenance of machinery
- Contribute to order, safety, and a positive work environment
- If necessary, assist your colleagues in production.
Who are you?
We’re looking for someone who is responsible and solution-oriented, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things. You should have previous experience operating a forklift or wheel loader, but if you have the right attitude and dedication, we’ll train you.
