Sponsoring within Sveden Trä

Sveden Trä's sponsorship primarily occurs at the local level, where Sveden Trä's operations are conducted and where our employees live. We want our sponsorship to make a difference and focus on activities where children and young people are prioritized, and where equal treatment, gender equality, diversity, and integration are important aspects; this may be within, for example, sports or culture.

Apply for sponsorship

Applications are processed twice a year. The deadline for each processing is: May 31st and November 30th.
Applications regarding sponsorship should be sent to jennifer.danielsson@svedentra.se and must include the following:

  • Your full name
  • Phone number
  • E-mail
  • Website and/or social media
  • Description of the activity seeking sponsorship.
  • Describe how the sponsorship is relevant to Sveden Trä.
  • How does the sponsorship contribute to the development of the community?
  • Scope of desired sponsorship, time and resources.

Sponsorship policy

Sponsorship is a collaboration based on business principles aimed at creating benefits for two or more parties. The sponsored parties are given agreed benefits and are expected to create value for Sveden Trä through agreed consideration. If no requirements for consideration are agreed, it is not considered sponsorship, but rather a gift, donation, or exchange of service. It is important to distinguish these due to tax accounting. 

A formal agreement must therefore always be drawn up for sponsorship; this policy forms the basis for the work with sponsorship at Sveden Trä.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE SPONSORSHIP?

Sponsorship is part of Sveden Trä's long-term strategy to act as a responsible player in society. Our sponsorship therefore primarily takes place at the local level, where Sveden Trä's operations are conducted and where our employees live.

THE SPONSORSHIP SHALL:
  • Strengthen Sveden Trä's local presence and at the same time demonstrate Sveden Trä's role as a responsible social actor.
  • Support the marketing of Sveden Trä, both in terms of the product portfolio and as an employer.
  • Create opportunities for meetings with important stakeholders.
  • Create added value and indirectly increase the value for owners and employees.
 
SVEDEN TRÄ SPONSORS:
  • Activities where children and young people are prioritized and where equal treatment, gender equality, diversity and integration are important elements, such as in sports or culture.
  • Projects that increase awareness in society about forestry, the forestry industry and our industry.
  • Projects/initiatives that care about the local area.
 
SVEDEN TRÄ DOES NOT SPONSOR:
  • Individuals
  • Political and/or religious activities.
  • Activities that conflict with Sveden Trä's values.
  • Activities with unsound finances.
 
DECISIONS REGARDING SPONSORSHIP ARE MADE BY:
  • Sveden Trä: Management, Marketing.
  • Sveden Trä, forestry department: Management, Marketing.
